National Day of Prayer

Dear friends...

On Thursday, May 1, believers across the nation will be joining together for National Day of Prayer and praying for the future health and well-being of the United States.

The Lighthouse Christian Bookstore will be hosting a 24-hour, midnight-to-midnight national prayer vigil. We are asking that participants and/or small groups sign up for any hour during the entire day. Papa's Place (the gathering room at the Lighthouse) will be your area to pray as you choose and are most comfortable... silently, in praise and worship, shared, discussion, or other format suitable to you.

In addition, short prayer services will be held throughout the day:

• 6 AM (Sunrise) - Prayers for the Leaders of Our Nation
• 12 noon - Prayers for the Social Welfare of Our Nation
• 5 PM - Prayers for the Safety of Our Nation
• 11:30 PM - Prayers for the Spiritual Growth of Our Nation

The prayer book, Pray For Our Nation: Scriptural Prayers to Revive Our Country, is available at the Lighthouse ($2.99/ea).

Never has there been a greater need for prayer. Please consider committing 30 minutes, an hour or more to this essential ministry.
